Physical Fitness | Tamarack’s Physical Fitness Program Honored

A deputy of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitnessand Sports Program Associate currently established Tamarack ElementarySchool in Avenal as the Central Valley Regional Award leader in the2011 Governor’s Challenge Competition.

It was the second year in a quarrel the college has been recognizedfor the achievement.

The college was presented with a $5,000 examine for physicalfitness apparatus and a $1,000 present card for college reserve atCVS/pharmacy. CVS/pharmacy is the unite of the Governor’sChallenge Regional Awards.

Tamarack was choosen as the Governor’s Council RegionalChampion formed on its encouragement of earthy wake up and goodnutrition in the 2010-2011 college year. All 426 of the school’sstudents successfully finished the Governor’s Challenge of beingactive at least 30 mins a day at least 3 days a week for amonth, and together the school’s students available a 70,069 days ofphysical activity.
